The 7 th of September will mark 12 months since the 26-year-old was found dead at his Los Angeles home (a coroner’s report found he died of a fatal mix of cocaine, fentanyl and ethanol). The couple ended their two-year Mac Miller adopted a dog named Myron in 2017 when he and Ariana Grande were still dating. Ariana Grande broke down in tears Wednesday, singing about ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in the late rapper's hometown. In a video captured in Pittsburgh by a fan on Instagram, the 25-year-old pop star was rendered speechless for several lines of "Thank U, Next" after getting choked up. The song, which recites Grande's past boyfriends, mentions Miller by his given name: "Wish I could say 'thank you' to Malcolm, 'cause he was an angel."Grande stopped short of saying Miller's name before struggling through the pre-chorus and then going silent altogether. She continued to dance and began singing again at the start of the second verse. She also paid tribute by playing Miller's music on speakers before the show began, E! He was originally Mac Miller's dog and was adopted on January 16, 2017.[1] The first time we see Myron would be on January 16, 2017 on Mac's Instagram page.[2] A few days later, Ariana then posted a short boomerang on her Instagram Story of Myron on Mac's birthday. Through various times through 2017, Myron could be seen on both Mac's and Ariana's Instagram pages. On April 24, 2018, Ariana said that Myron had been living with her for a few months and he was "her everything"[3]. After Ariana and Mac broke up, Myron continued to live with Ariana and the rest of her dogs, as he was constantly seen on her Instagram story with Toulouse. On August 26, 2018 (National Dog Day), Ariana's mother confirmed on Twitter that Myron was Ariana's dog. On September 7, 2018, Mac Miller died of an accidental drug overdose. Days later, on September 19, Ariana posted pictures of Myron and her other dogs, on her Instagram story, meaning up until that Grande is now taking care of him full time. After Ariana had received Billboard's 2018 Woman of the Year award, she posted a photo of Toulouse and Myron thanking them and stating that they were "the realest bitches i've ever known" [4].
